Who is the Programme for?
This programme is for publications that are at an early stage on their AI strategic journey, recognise AI as offering growth potential, and have the team in place to take next steps in their AI strategy after the end of the programme.
The programme covers the AI journey from first principles to an implementation action plan:
- Day 1: The AI opportunity – publishers will align the AI opportunity with their existing commercial goals and develop outcomes to support their ambitious goal
- Day 2: Identifying use cases – publishers will receive a framework for thinking about AI applications and develop a prioritised bank of AI use cases to consider for testing
- Day 3: Designing a concept – publishers will design a proof of concept to take forward to experimentation and practice using a repeatable method for the future
- Day 4: Taking AI forward – publishers will build a capabilities roadmap to support the strategy and write an AI charter to communicate with their wider organisation
"I loved that the course specifically asked for a broad range of leaders to be present. Having members of the leadership team work together on this strategy was extremely valuable. The dedicated time forced us to push this to the top of our priority list, which is very needed. I appreciate that there was a consistent message of don't embark into AI just because it is bright and shiny. The guidance was practical and the frameworks introduced in the workshops were great!"
Daily Maverick
"This was an intense but very valuable week building a strong foundation on the AI in the news business. It was a very good foundation that provided lots of materials to explore and put into perspective."
Capital (Economedia)
"I really valued that the programme gave us access to so many quality professionals. It made us reflect on all internal processes with respect to AI and how we can improve and work even more in multidisciplinary teams."
