About the Programme
News consumption is rapidly shifting as audiences and publishers embrace the changes enabled by developing technologies and driven by changing consumption habits. The emergence of new formats is reshaping how audiences engage with journalism, from audio and video to newsletters and immersive digital experiences. For publishers, this change represents both a challenge and an opportunity: how to adapt content strategies to meet audiences where they are while building sustainable business models.
FT Strategies, in collaboration with the Google News Initiative, invites you to apply for the Future Formats Accelerator: a four-day programme designed for publishers beginning their journey into non-traditional content formats. This Accelerator will equip your team with the knowledge, frameworks, and inspiration to embrace new formats with confidence, ensuring your organisation is prepared for long-term success.
Delivered virtually, the programme combines expert masterclasses, practical tools and peer-to-peer learning in a cohort setting, helping you understand how to translate ideas into experiments and experiments into impact.
The inaugural Future Formats Accelerator will be taking place virtually in the week commencing November 10th.
This programme is open to publishers based in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Please note that the programme will be delivered in English.
Applications close October 24th at 17:00 GMT
