New report showcasing the learnings from the first edition of the GNI Audience Diversity Lab SEA 2023
FT Strategies, supported by the Google News Initiative, is proud to share the learnings from the Audience Diversity Lab SEA 2023 program, the first of its kind to focus exclusively on the SEA region.
The report provides news publishers with actionable insights and recommendations to enhance their audience diversity agenda and successfully address the opportunities to reach and engage younger audiences (18-35 years) in the SEA region.
The report highlights:
- Introduction (on pages 3-5): This section highlights the social and commercial imperative of building a diverse audience and the common challenges publishers face when attempting to develop an audience diversity strategy.
- How to approach audience diversity (on pages 11-18): This section explores each axis of the Audience
- Diversity Framework in more detail and shares best practice recommendations. Each axis summary includes example initiatives selected by the five publishers who were involved in the program.
- ADL Participant Testimonials (on pages 19-21): This section shares testimonials from the Audience Diversity Lab SEA 2023 program highlighting key learnings from the program content.
